Config helper fails with the following message in the log: Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : The server certificate on the destination computer

Problem:

Config helper fails with the following message in the log: Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : The server certificate on the destination computer
(E2E-Ex10-1.qa-dom1.e2e.dom:443) has the following errors: The SSL certificate could not be checked for revocation. The server used to check for revocation might be unreachable. The SSL certificate is signed by an unknown certificate authority. The SSL certificate contains a common name (CN) that does not match the hostname. For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic.

Problem: E2E Complete passes communications to Exchange securely via SSL. For this to function, you must have a non-self signed certificate present on the Exchange 2010 server which is configured for remoting.

Resolution:

Install a certificate issued by either an external authority or a trusted internal certificate server, on an appropriate Exchange 2010 server.
