Notification emails are not being delivered to end users. Part I

Problem:

The SMTP receive connector requires usernames to be in the UPN format. i.e. tom.willis@e2e.com.

Resolution:

The easiest way to resolve this issue is to drop the E2E database within SQL, and re-run the configuration helper utility to re-specify an alternate account for notifications.
You may also manually editing the C:\Program Files\BinaryTree\E2E\MCP\e2emcp.exe.config file to change the notification account, but in this case, the password would be stored in plain text. If electing this option, you should be sure that the notification account has very limited rights within your environment.
